One of the biggest challenges about portrait photography is getting your subject to loosen up and allow for candid photos. When you’re dealing with a sixteen year old boy, it’s almost a lost cause. Thankfully this sixteen year old had a younger sister that was always willing to tickle him a little to get out the laugh. Charlie and Anna were very patient, trudging through Sarah P. Duke Gardens and the American Tobacco District in Durham, North Carolina. They stood on every bridge, smelled every flower, and climbed every tree in the name of a good portrait.
