When I was 15 I got my first job at the Hope Valley Farms Swim and Racquet Club in Durham, North Carolina.  My boss?  The lovely KF Grotelueschen, pictured in purple above.  KF, her husband Brett, and their son, Max, have been some of my favorite people on the planet ever since, and I was thrilled to make some images of them while I was in Durham over the weekend.  While they showed wearing neither a Mounties uniform nor American flag overalls as promised, it was still a great time.  If you couldn’t tell by the photos, they crack themselves (and me) up.
